ABOUT US
Fresno Worship Center started in 2000 as a body in need of healing, a place for worship and a place to call home. Our first services were at the Piccadilly Inn by the airport. We then moved to California Christian College and used their auditorium and classrooms until April 2007. Pastor Rababy looked three years for a place to call home. He looked at every available building. Some were too small, some too big; some didn’t have the right amount of parking, etc.
May 6, 2007 we had our first service in our very own building. As we stood in faith, tripled our rent and took on all the costs involved in keeping up a building, our body has grown. This was only the beginning of great things to come. Now we are looking to expand once more as our congregation has grown. Praise the Lord for all he has done!
On April 12, 2012, Fresno Worship Center began another period of transition as our founder, Pastor Abraham Rababy went home to be with the Lord. Pastor Abel Tovar was installed and anointed as our new senior Pastor on April 15th. He was chosen by our beloved Pastor Rababy over ten years ago and has been a rock and a pillar of Fresno Worship Center from it's inception.
At Fresno Worship Center we have a saying:
The first time you attend our church, you are a welcomed guest. The next time, you are family.
Fresno Worship Center currently supports two missionaries.

TENETS OF FAITH
This Church shall accept the Holy Scriptures as the inspired and all revealed Word of God the all-sufficient, infallible, and authoritative rule for faith and practice. The human phraseology employed herein is not inspired nor contended for, but the truth set forth is held essential to a full-gospel ministry. No claim is made that this statement contains all truth in the Bible, only that it covers our present needs as to these fundamental matters:
Section 1
THE SCRIPTURE INSPIRED
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is a revelation of God, from God to man. It is the infallible rule of faith and conduct and is superior to conscience and reason. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
Section 2
THE ONE TRUE GOD
There is one God who has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed "I Am" and has further revealed Himself as eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, John 14, Galatians 4:6, Ephesians 4:6, Genesis 1 :26, Matthew 3:16,17)
Section 3 MAN. HIS FALL AND REDEMPTION
Man was created perfect and righteous, for God said, "Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness". But man, by voluntary transgression, fell from perfection and righteousness, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Genesis 1 :26-31, 2:15-17, 3:1-24 Romans 5:12-21)
Section 4
THE SALVATION OF MAN
Man is saved "by grace ...through ...the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8) Salvation as described in the scriptures embodies the renewing of man unto the condition originally intended by God in the creation of man. Salvation includes the prospect of the "abundant life" on this earth as well as an eternal existence in heaven. The salvation of man has two aspects: through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, man receives imputed righteousness (he is reckoned right by faith), further, man receives an imparted righteousness through the indwelling Spirit of the risen Jesus Christ to the end that he may walk righteously, as he yields to the indwelling Spirit. (Romans 3:21-25,5:12, John 10:10, Galatians 5:17-26, Romans 1 :16, Romans 10:9-10)
The Evidence of Salvation 1) The inward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness. (Romans 8:4, John 15:1-8, Galatians 5:22,23, Romans 8:16, John 13:34-35, 1 John 3:14)
Conditions to Salvation:
1) Romans 10: 9, 1 0 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
2) II Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold all things are become new."
Section 5
BAPTISM IN WATER
The ordinance of baptism by a burial with Christ must be observed as commanded in the scripture. Water baptism is a faith step which results in circumcision of the heart; a death to self and a resurrection to newness of life in Christ Jesus.” (Ezekiel 36:25-27, Romans 6:3, 4, Colossians 2:11-13)
Section 6
THE LORD'S SUPPER
The Lord's Supper consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the symbol of expressing and sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the memorial of His suffering, and death, and our salvation thereby a prophecy of His return. "It is enjoined upon all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord "until He comes". (John 6:48-5 1, Luke 22:19-20, 11 Peter 1 :4, 1 Corinthians 11 :24-32)
Section 7
THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father--the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. The power for life and service, and the bestowment of the gifts for the work of the ministry, is the result of the baptism in the Holy Ghost. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the New Birth. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:48, I Corinthians 12:1-14, Acts 2:1-4, 39, 10:44,46, Acts 11:14-16,25:7-9, John 15:26, 16:7-13)
Section 8
EVIDENCE OF THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST
The baptism of believers in the Holy Ghost is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46, 19:2-6, 1:8, 2:42-43)
Section 9
SANCTIFICATION
God has imparted to believers righteousness through the indwelling. of the Holy Ghost. By the power of the Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command, "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father who is in heaven, is perfect.". Perfection or full growth into maturity is the will of the Father for all believers and is to be pursued by walking "not after the flesh, but after the Spirit", in obedience to God's Word. (Matthew 5:48, Romans 8:3-4, Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:15, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, 1 John 2:6)
Section 10
THE CHURCH (THE BODY OF CHRIST)
The Church is the habitation of God through the Holy Ghost with divine appointment as the agent for God on earth to the accomplishment of the Great Commission. The church is comprised of all who have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The church is composed of the whole number of regenerate persons from Pentecost to the return of Christ; united together and to Christ by the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and is the Body of which He is the head, which will be translated to heaven at the return of the Lord. (Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22, 5:30-31, 1 Corinthians 15~52, 12:23-31, 2 Corinthians 11 :2-4, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17).
Section 11
THE MINISTRY AND EVANGELISM
The ministry of reconciliation is given to all believers. This work of the ministry, with the evangelization of the work, is to be performed by the saints (i.e. believers). The perfecting of the saints, for this work, is accomplished through the gift ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. (Matthew 28:18-19, Mark 16:15-20, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, Ephesians 4:11-13, 1 Corinthians 14:26).
Section 12
DIVINE HEALING
Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all who call upon the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, Mark 16:16, James 5:14, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 107:20, Psalm 103:3)
Section 13
THE BLESSED HOPE (RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH)
The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, is eminent and the blesses home of the church. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, Titus 2:13)
Section 14
THE REIGN OF JESUS
The revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven, the salvation of national Israel, and the reign of Christ on earth is the scriptural promise and the world’s hope. (2 Thessalonians 1:7, Romans 11:25-27, Revelation 20:1-6, 21:1-8)
Section 15
THE LAKE OF FIRE
The devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and whoever is not found in the Book of Life shall be consigned to everlasting torment in the lake, which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Revelation 20:1-8)
